Willard's Newborn Photos in Jefferson City, Missouri

Willard came in for newborn photos just a day shy of one month old.  While I prefer to photographer newborns in the first 2 weeks of life, I love photographing older newborns too.  He was a great eater and had filled out quite a bit!  Check out his chunky cheeks!

We chose a color palette of blues, greens, and neutral tones, which complemented his fair skin and light hair.  Despite being a little older than my typical newborn, he loved to be swaddled and slept really well.

I'm so glad that mom chose to be in pictures.  They turned out to be some of my favorites from their session and I know mom will treasure those photos.

As a newborn photographer, I'm so grateful for the opportunity to document these fleeting early days of a newborn's life.  I can't wait to watch Willard grow at each of his milestone sessions in the coming year.
