Newborn Photos in Jefferson City, MO - Baby Georgia

Baby Georgia’s newborn session was such a joy. Her big sister Penelope joined us too, and I still can’t get over what an incredible big sister she was. I photographed Penelope’s newborn photos two years ago, so getting to see her step into this role felt extra special. She followed directions perfectly and was the most adorable helper the entire time.

Georgia started her session wide awake with a serious case of FOMO, taking everything in and refusing to miss a thing. With some gentle swaddling, rocking, and shushing, she finally drifted off to sleep. Once she was settled, I was able to capture a beautiful variety of sleepy, timeless poses.

Newborn sessions are best scheduled early. I recommend booking by the second trimester to ensure availability, since I only take a limited number of due dates each month. The actual date of your session will be scheduled once baby is here.

I also offer a baby milestone plan that allow families to document that first year with newborn, 6-month, and 1-year sessions. Watching these little ones grow is truly one of the best parts of my job.
