Josephine's One in a Melon First Birthday Photos

I have been getting a lot of requests for fruit themes for first birthdays lately.  Josephine's party was a "One in a Melon" watermelon theme and, while she wasn't super interested in the cake at her photo shoot, she had fun smashing it and eating the watermelon!  

We started her session with a beautiful floral backdrop and then a neutral boho setup for some classic portraits.  The expressions she gave me were so funny and since she was mobile, I had to work fast to capture them.

My signature first birthday sessions include a cake smash and bubble bath at the end and it is so sweet to watch these babies go after the cake and then splash around in the tub.  They love it!
