Grayson's Construction Themed Cake Smash First Birthday Photos

Grayson graduated my Baby Milestone Plan with a super fun first birthday session a couple of weeks ago.  I remember his six month session and he was super serious and barely gave me a smile.  I wasn't sure what to expect this time, especially when I saw that he was asleep when we got to our location just outside of Jefferson City.  Fortunately, he woke up in a great mood and loved taking pictures outside!  

We started with some fun family shots outside and then focused on just Grayson.  He brought along some dump trucks and construction toys to use for props.  When we went back to my studio, he went to town on the cake.  I don't think I've ever had a baby destroy the cake as much as he did!  We had to call it quits and bring out the bathtub before he ate too much, but he wasn't mad about it.  He loved splashing in the tub and playing with the bubbles.

All in all, it was a successful shoot with lots of happy memories!  I know he will have a great first birthday!
