Baby Eleanor's Under the Sea Newborn Session

When I shot Sydney and Alex's maternity session, they were so excited to tell me about Eleanor's beautiful nursery which is decorated in an "Under the Sea" theme.  Mom is a marine biologist and wanted to incorporate a few marine elements in their newborn photos.  We used a stuffed whale that they had received as a gift, as well as a digital scene with a cute underwater setup.  They turned out so cute!

Eleanor was a little grumpy through part of her session, but she did manage to sleep quite a bit.  When she woke up at one point, she was staring me down with her big, dark eyes so I was able to get some great expression photos, aka "mugshots".

I'm excited to see how Eleanor's changed at her next milestone session!  Congratulations to the new family of 3!
