Annalise's Alice in Wonderland Cake Smash in Jefferson City, Missouri

What better way to capture a first birthday milestone than with a cake smash?  I have gotten to photograph Annalise several times the past year and she gets more beautiful and silly each time.  

Grandma always tags along for the photo shoots and her main job is to hold Annalise's Baby Shark toy (it sings!) to get her to smile.  For some reason, Annalise is OBSESSED with this toy and grins every single time it plays.  I can't believe how well it works, but we've used it for her last 3 sessions!

Annalise was super close to standing on her own when we did these photos and she actually did it for the first time during our session.  I loved being able to capture that special milestone for her family.  Happy first birthday Annalise!
